Walker in Sturtevant, recall efforts begin

Gov. Scott Walker visited Ruud Lighting today, the day a recall effort against him began. Recall events are continuing throughout the day.

Walker just spoke. He said the state is offering $4 million for this project through jobs credits and tax credits. He says 469 jobs will be created, getting him closer to his 2015 jobs goal.

Walker: "We're gonna stay focused on jobs. That's what people elected me to do." He says they also elected him to make tough decisions. If a recall takes place his campaign will focus 100 percent on jobs, he says.

Please ask the protesters what solution they wold have to fix a $3 billion budget shortfall...Raising taxes cannot be a response. And would they have supported mass layoffs to fix the states budget issues

Thank god we have governor who is willing to stand for people and not spend money where it doesn't belong. Wish he could fired all MPS teachers, worthless... Worse school system in the country, yet they want more money... Start fresh with new grads and kick those Unions OUT

GET A GRIP people. Listen to the 16 y/o who, when asked about whether or not the recall should happen, is quoted as saying, "Yes, because Walker's removing stuff from the schools, 'like sour ceam and Crystal Lite'." My gosh... it's the Wisconsin mentality in print!!!
Who's paying for the recall election, if it happened? NOT ME!! I didn't initiate this travesty!
